Former BBC Radio 1 DJ Mark Page has been found guilty by a jury for four counts of trying to arrange sex with a child in court on Wednesday 9 March. Page, 63, denied the charges, which consisted of five counts of arranging the commission of a child sex offence. A jury found him guilty of four of those counts.

"He has had business, military and charitable interests in the Philippines for a number of years."Between 1983 and 1986, Page was the presenter of the BBC Radio 1 early weekend breakfast show.He started out radio presenting on BBC Radio Cleveland in 1975 and hosted the breakfast show on Radio Tees from 1978 to 1983.
