the fish truck a particular challenge so, reluctantly, I’ve decided to close it for a fortnight. I did think about getting someone to cover for me, but it’s a bit like a restaurant.
When people turn up, they want to see me there. And awake.It is only temporary. Once the pub and the Oyster & Fish House have navigated any reopening bumps in the road, I will be back behind the counter.
And with a bigger smile and a spring in my step.It’s been hard, as others who run small businesses will know, to watch as all you’ve worked hard for all your life is in danger of going down the drain.
