On my many round trips between home, Lyme and Corscombe, whenever I drive past a pub that closes in the afternoon, I just don’t understand why.
Perhaps they don’t need the money.In under two weeks’ time, all being well, we can reopen indoors, too. Given how busy we are outdoors already, coping with indoor tables too means we are going to have to double our staff to cope.
Hats off to the flexibility shown by the local authority in Lyme in particular, in allowing me to use some of their land as a new outdoor terrace and serving area.
