God Of War is a beloved franchise that has transcended generations. God Of War: Ragnarok, the latest installment in the franchise, has sold over 15 million copies worldwide across the PS4 and PS5. Now, to show their appreciation to their loyal fans, GOW will be releasing a new free DLC.

God Of War Ragnarok DLC has been unveiled at this year’s The Game Awards – and it’s arriving next week.While at The Game Awards, Sony Santa Monica made the blockbuster announcement, revealing a new trailer for a Kratos-led DLC campaign, titled Valhalla. While little is known of the DLC’s plot, it will seemingly take place after the events of Ragnarok due to Atreus’ absence.Fans won’t need to wait long to jump back into the world of God Of War though, as the DLC goes live on PS5 and PS4 next week, on December 12.

Elden Ring, Shadows of the Erdtree, likely won’t be previewed next week at the The Game Awards 2023.Speaking to Japanese publication Game Watch (with a translation provided by PCGamesN) at the PlayStation Partners Awards, producer Yasuhiro Kitao was asked whether the long-anticipated Elden Ring DLC will be unveiled at next week’s annual industry bash.Kitao replied, stating “It’ll be a little while yet, but progress is going well.” He then went on to specify that the DLC is “like Bloodborne” and that it has “new battles and new characters.”Kitao also spoke a little on FromSoftware’s development process, stating that its “long-standing stance has been to work diligently to create something interesting and valuable.”Elden Ring: Shadows of the Erdtree was officially announced in February of this year, with no real details available other than that the DLC is in development. Fans were hoping to see details from the expansion at The Game Awards 2023, as it was also a Geoff Keighley-hosted show, Summer Game Fest 2021, in which we saw a lengthy look at the base game, but that’s looking increasingly less likely as the event approaches.NME‘s review of Elden Ring stated that the game “exceeds every expectation”, with writer Andy Brown noting that:“A refined open-world format adds unimagined wonder to the game, whilst legacy dungeons will likely go down as some of FromSoftware’s best level design.

Mojang and Wizards Of The Coast have announced the launch of Dungeons & Dragons downloadable content (DLC) for Minecraft, which will introduce a “story-driven” campaign and five classes to choose from.The Dungeons & Dragons DLC is set to launch on the Minecraft Marketplace in spring 2023, and will include a number of enemies, locations and features from Wizards Of The Coast’s 1974 game.In the DLC, players will choose from five Dungeons & Dragons classes – including Barbarian and Wizard – and explore five Forgotten Realms from the D&D universe.

Paradox Interactive has announced new downloadable content (DLC) for medieval grand strategy game Crusader Kings 3, with Tours And Tournaments set to allow the hosting of extravagant events in players’ kingdoms.Tours And Tournaments was announced today (March 6) during the Paradox Announcement Show.Set to launch this spring, Tours And Tournaments will allow players to host celebrations and tournaments in their realm, along with the ability for rulers to tour their lands.Tournaments will offer a means of improving the host’s social standing or military prowess, while touring a realm will let players offer gifts to their vassals or extort them for higher taxes. Meanwhile, players will also be able to host weddings that serve as an opportunity to “honour your in-laws, cater to your vassals, and demonstrate your power”.Tours And Tournaments will also introduce a travel system, which means that players will need to plan their route to and from each event.

Elden Ring is getting a DLC expansion titled Shadow of the Erdtree, the game’s developer has announced. Japanese video game developer FromSoftware dropped a tweet on Tuesday confirming DLC for the hit action role-playing-game is officially in the works.

Capcom has shared a third trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake and confirmed post-launch downloadable content (DLC).Shared as part of yesterday’s PlayStation State Of Play presentation (February 23), the new trailer sees Leon fighting for survival.“For those of you who played the original game, you might recognise some of the scenes,” promotion producer Edvin Edsö told Sony. “Drama! Techland has delayed the launch of Dying Light 2 downloadable content (DLC) Bloody Ties, in order to “polish” the DLC ahead of its release.Though Bloody Ties was intended to launch on October 13, it will now be released on November 10, 2022.Explaining the decision on Twitter, Techland shared that it has “taken the decision to postpone the launch of Bloody Ties until November 10, to allow the team extra time to polish and squash bugs.”The studio added that developers for Dying Light 2 would be answering any further questions via a Q&A on the game’s Discord server.Bloody Ties was announced at Gamescom 2022, and you can watch a trailer for the DLC below.The first story-based DLC for Dying Light 2, Bloody Ties follows protagonist Aiden through “a tournament where people sacrifice everything just for status.”“Hone your skills to defeat your enemies and make allies to obtain glory,” teases the DLC’s Steam page. “You will quickly realize that the quest for fame is just the beginning and you will find yourself involved in a plot for power and revenge.”Bloody Ties will introduce Carnage Hall, a new location that’s “filled with wealth and splendour” despite the outside world’s post-apocalyptic state.

The Sims 4 has been revealed, with new fashion choices for children and desert-themed furniture on the way.Revealed last night (August 30), the next DLC for The Sims 4 is titled First Fits Kit, and will launch on September 1.As detailed on Twitter, the First Fits Kit will allow players to “up your child Sims’ closets with trendy patterns & colourful fits,” and was made in collaboration with Sims YouTuber XUrbanSimsX.The second DLC – the Desert Luxe Kit – will be released several weeks later, on September 14. This will introduce “new furniture inspired by the natural landscape of the Southwestern Desert so your Sims can arrange a space indoors & outdoors for both relaxation & entertainment.”Like the First Fits Kit, this DLC also featured a YouTuber collaboration, as EA Creator Aveline announced that she had helped “with the creation process” of the Desert Luxe Kit.The DLC follows The Sims 4‘s High School Years expansion, which launched on July 8.

High On Life will receive downloadable content (DLC) and other post-launch additions, developer Squanch Games confirmed at Gamescom after showing off more in-game footage.The sci-fi first-person shooter is being developed by Squanch Games, the studio founded by the co-creator of Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland. Dead By Daylight has launched its first exclusive anime crossover with a 10-outfit collection inspired by Attack on Titan.Today (July 19), Behaviour Interactive officially released its previously announced Attack On Titan collaboration in the form of downloadable content (DLC) collection.The collection features eight Very Rare Outfits for Survivors and two Ultra Rare Outfits for Killers inspired by the massively popular anime and manga series.Players will be able to dress Survivors to look like the main cast, including Dwight Fairfield in Eren’s uniform, Yui Kimura in Mikasa’s, Felix Richter in Armin’s and Jake Park in Levi’s. Sega has revealed that Two Point Campus will release with free Pride-themed downloadable content (DLC) when it launches in August, and announced a stream that will show off the content while raising money for transgender rights charity Mermaids.Two Point Campus publisher Sega has shared that the game’s first DLC will be the Pride Pack, which players will be able to pick up for free when Two Point Campus launches on August 9 (via PCGamesN).The DLC will include a range of rainbow-themed decorations for flooring, walls and beds, and will be explored in more detail today (June 28) during a livestream at 7PM BST.Besides sharing an “exclusive look” at what the Pride Pack will include, Sega’s livestream commemorates the anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall riots.

The Long Dark developer Hinterland Studio has shared a blog post discussing the survival game’s future, including plans for a “season pass” with paid downloadable content (DLC) coming later this year.Posted yesterday (April 29), a developer diary titled ‘The Future Of The Long Dark‘ has touched on the game’s eight-year history and looked ahead at what’s next.While Hinterland Studio expressed appreciation for the game’s fanbase, it also explained that the developer’s promise to make every update free posed a major challenge in “managing our resources”.The blog then added that in a recent poll, 80 per cent of players expressed a desire for Hinterland Studio to create paid expansion content.

Young Horses has announced that the upcoming Bugsnax expansion, Isle of Bigsnax, will launch on April 28 alongside a Nintendo Switch and Xbox release.Bugsnax was originally released in 2020 for PS4, PS5, and PC, but the game will soon be arriving on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and is also coming to Xbox Game Pass.Isle of Bigsnax was announced in October 2021 and will be a free update that features a brand new biome for players to explore, along with a dozen new bugsnax to capture and feed to grumpuses, as well as over 100 new challenges, 30 quests, and nearly 200 decorations to customise players’ huts with.In a new PlayStation Blog post, Bugsnax creative director, Kevin Zuhn, shared new details of the upcoming expansion, including the debut trailer which can be viewed below.Zuhn confirmed that the new biome will feature “a greater emphasis on environmental puzzles that put your tools to the test” and players will come across many vertical mazes while hunting Bugsnax. They’ll also gather a party of volunteers including characters, Chandlo, Floofty, Triffany, and Shelda.The developer also shared that some Bugsnax located on the island can be too large for players’ tools and traps, so the DLC will feature a new substance called Shrink Spice which, when thrown at the creatures, will shrink them down to a more manageable size.
