Veteran soap star Marcus Smythe has died. The actor, best known for his roles in Who's The Boss and Seinfeld, lost his battle with brain cancer at the age of 70.
The star died on August 20, surrounded by his family at his home in Southern California. His death was confirmed by an obituary in the Los Angeles Times.
Marcus starred in a string of shows throughout his busy career, including daytime dramas Guiding Light, Search For Tomorrow and Another World.
He also starred in Murphy Brown. According to the newspaper, Marcus had been fighting brain cancer for three years. Within his obituary, his family asked people to take the coronavirus pandemic seriously.
