The German, who took charge at Stamford Bridge in January last year following Frank Lampard's exit, has been closely linked with the vacant position at Old Trafford in recent weeks following the turmoil Chelsea have been plunged into as a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Owner Roman Abramovich was heavily sanctioned by the UK government earlier this month, resulting in Chelsea being placed under a wealth of sanctions, some of which have since been lifted.
However, uncertainty continues to surround the German's future, even though Chelsea are hoping to be the subject of a big-money takeover by the end of April.
Tuchel, publicly, has stressed his commitment to the position, but depending on the situation, particularly how long it rumbles on for, it could force him to get itchy feet and consider his future at the club.
