Manchester United have confirmed Juan Mata will leave the club this summer. Mata is out of contract on June 30 this month and that means his eight-year association with United is set to end.
United signed Mata from Chelsea for a then-club record £37.1million in January 2014 and the Spaniard won three trophies at Old Trafford.
The 34-year-old started in the 2016 FA Cup final victory, as well as the 2017 League Cup and Europa League final triumphs. Mata has contributed 51 goals and 47 assists in 284 appearances at United and he made his last start against Crystal Palace last month.
