Ukraine star bursts into tears following World Cup heartbreak after Wales defeat

World Cup dreams in Cardiff. An own goal from ex-West Ham star Andriy Yarmolenko proved the difference as Rob Page's side secured a narrow 1-0 win to book their place in Qatar in November.

Ukraine had plenty of good chances but failed to capitalise on their first-half dominance on a frustrating evening in the Welsh capital.

An incredible 2,000 Ukraine supporters packed out the away end at the Cardiff City Stadium to watch their side in action, and they all got to their feet to applaud the efforts of their team at the final whistle.

Ukraine's stars went over to the corner of the stadium to reciprocate their support, but it all proved a little too much for Benfica star Yaremchuk who broke down at the emotion of it all.The 26-year-old couldn't hold back the tears as he joined his team-mates in applauding the travelling fans, with the emotion clearly being felt given recent events in the war-torn country.How far do you think Wales will go at the World Cup?
