Dave Matthews has withdrawn from an imminent wildfire benefit concert due to a “critical illness in the family”.Matthews was due to perform at FireAid with John Mayer – the event was first announced earlier this month in support of the victims of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, which will take place later today (January 30) concurrently at the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum, the latter venue originally meant to host Matthews.“Due to a critical illness in the family, Dave Matthews is unfortunately unable to perform at the FireAid and MusiCares benefits this week,” a statement read.The Kia Forum show will proceed with a line-up of Alanis Morissette, Anderson .Paak, Graham Nash, Green Day, John Fogerty, Joni Mitchell, No Doubt, P!nk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stephen Stills and Stevie Nicks, among others.On Tuesday (January 28), Dave Matthews Band announced a 2025 summer tour, which notably includes a concert at the Kia Forum on August 22.

King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard have announced a new orchestral tour, and have released a new single ‘Phantom Island’.Last night (October 29), the Australian band took to social media to announce their upcoming ‘Phantom Island’ tour, which is set to take place in 2025. The majority of the tour will include a full orchestra with conductor and music director Sarah Hicks and city-specific orchestras, while some concerts are being billed as “good ol rock n roll shows”.The tour will be in support of the band’s upcoming album, which has yet to receive a title.

Anderson .Paak has announced a 2024 North American tour which will see him perform his second album ‘Malibu’ in its entirety.The 14-date run will kick off at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater in Oregon on September 18. Thania Garcia A bomb threat stopped Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds concert at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) on July 8. Fans were ordered to evacuate the venue directly after the first two opening acts, Metric and Garbage, wrapped their sets. Before Gallagher stepped foot on stage, concert-goers were ordered by the venue to leave the premises in response to a bomb threat. The order was shared on the venue’s jumbo screens that read: “At this time, we will need to evacuate the venue. We ask you to calmly proceed to the nearest exit. Please follow directions of staff and police officers. For the safety of everyone, please do not rush or push. Thank you for your cooperation.”
