King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard have announced a new orchestral tour, and have released a new single ‘Phantom Island’.Last night (October 29), the Australian band took to social media to announce their upcoming ‘Phantom Island’ tour, which is set to take place in 2025.
The majority of the tour will include a full orchestra with conductor and music director Sarah Hicks and city-specific orchestras, while some concerts are being billed as “good ol rock n roll shows”.The tour will be in support of the band’s upcoming album, which has yet to receive a title.
The tour will begin in July and will run until August, and will take place across 11 shows in the United States.Tickets to the tour go on sale at 10am local time this Friday (November 1).
