After pre-orders immediately sold out upon their release last week, Target-exclusive vinyl of Chappell Roan’s “Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” are finally back in stock.
The physical release features the original album art — a photograph of Roan in drag-inspired makeup, a tiara and sash — in addition to an orange record and limited-edition illustration card with nods to some of the album’s biggest hits like “Pink Pony Club.” The album, which first came out in August of 2023, has become a pop phenomena exactly one year later.
It reached a high of No. 2 on the Billboard 200 last month, dominated only by Taylor Swift‘s “The Tortured Poets Department.” Its been a whirlwind year for the 26 year-old Midwesterner, whose debut album propelled her to pop stardom in a matter of months.
