Kelty Hearts skipper Gary Cennerazzo has gutted the coronavirus has shut down their Lowland League title bid, but this isn’t just a case of sour grapes.
The defender’s worries over the pandemic are about more than just football.The 30-year-old runs his own wine import/export business, the Edinburgh-based Bellissimo Vino, which naturally means doing business with the country that’s been one of the hardest hit by the COVID-19 virus.The peninsula, where Cennerazzo’s family hail from, was placed in complete lock down last week, confining 60 million Italians to their homes.
So far, Italy has suffered nearly 30,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus and over 2,000 deaths with drastic efforts being taken to get the spread of the virus under control.
