house from the iconic movie Edward Scissorhands is on the market and had been transformed into a bizarre "shrine" to the film with a life-sized model of Johnny Depp's character.
Located at 1774 Tinsmith Circle in Lutz, Florida, the strange property has been listed for $699,000 (£531,000) having been bought for just $224,000 (£170,000) two years ago by Joey Licalzi and his wife.Joey is more than just a fan of Tim Burton's 1990 cult classic - he was actually a dishwasher on set."We need more space.
I wish we didn’t have to sell," Joey told the Tampa Bay Times, explaining that his daughter is having twins. In homage to Edward Scissorhands the couple renovated the three-bed two-bathroom property into a free museum offering fans tours and putting on screenings.
Among its features are spiralling hedge toparies like the ones Edward creates in the film, the original cabinets and countertops, a vast collection of memorabilia and art work from the film and even a model of Edward in the kitchen.
