Former centre-back John O'Shea believes Manchester United will face an "uphill task" to secure a top-four finish if they fail to beat Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Saturday evening.

United, who beat Spurs 3-0 when the two sides met in north London back in October, will lock horns with Antonio Conte's side just two points ahead of them in the table.

Spurs closed the gap to that margin with a 5-0 thumping of Everton on Monday evening, which secured a third win in four games in the process.
