Three people rushed to hospital after car smashes into tree and bursts into flames

Three people have been taken to hospital after a car crashed into a tree in Bolton. Emergency services were scrambled to Colliers Road Row at around 2pm yesterday (Tuesday March 8) following the collision.

One person had to be airlifted to hospital, while two others were taken by road. The car caught fire after the crash and a photograph taken from the scene shows a huge fireball at the side of the road.
