A shopper has described the terrifying moment a man was stabbed at a local Asda in a bust up that got 'out of hand' in which the 'n-word' was shouted.
Police were called to the supermarket on Milne Street in Chadderton at around 6pm on Friday evening (February 24) following reports of a stabbing.
Police say that the injuries sustained are not thought to be life threatening and an investigation has been launched. No arrests have been made so far.
On Friday evening, photos and videos on social media showed that a large number of police at the Asda. According to one eye witness, residents were seen running away from the store at one point following the incident which is said to have started with two men 'arguing among themselves' and turned into a machete attack.
