ITV Britain's Got Talent under fire for Golden Buzzer Act as viewers say it's 'not fair'
dailyrecord.co.ukThe latest episode of much-loved ITV show Britain's Got Talent returned to our screens this week - but fans all had the same complaint about the Golden Buzzer act.Hopefuls from all over the UK took to the stage in front of judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli to showcase their talents in the hope of winning the contest, a £250,000 prize and the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Show.And one singer who the judges pressed the Golden Buzzer for - sending her straight through to the live shows - caught the eye of some eagle-eyed telly fans who said they'd spotted her on screen before.
The Mirror reports that 39-year-old Taryn Charles earned a standing ovation for her performance of (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman and was brought to tears when the Golden Buzzer was pressed by Bruno securing her a spot in the live semi-finals.
Taryn, who works as a special needs educator and uses music to help rehabilitate children, said she applied to the show to put a smile on people's faces.
However, viewers picked up on the fact that she had actually appeared on another ITV singing show in the past. According to fans, she had featured on Starstruck previously, a show fronted by Olly Murs which sees singers given the chance to transform into their musical idols.
