While many will be pleased that the weather has warmed up, some don’t appreciate it. Sunnier conditions can trigger allergies, with the NHS warning: “Hay fever is usually worse between late March and September, especially when it’s warm, humid and windy.” And unfortunately for sufferers, the Met Office predicts a high pollen count in the UK this week.
While Scots hasn’t been affected, high pollen counts have been recorded in England, Wales and Northern Ireland today. This will lower in Northern Ireland and the North of England by the end of the week.
