Met Office has warned the weekend heatwave is unlikely to last long with predictions of wind and rain throughout the next few weeks.
Despite highs of 29C this weekend, summer could be cut short with lower temperatures predicted until mid-August.Brits can enjoy a mini-heatwave lasting at least four days after Friday, into early next week.
Forecasters are predicting scorching temperatures this Saturday in part of the south, reports Mirror Online. However, the Met Office's long range report throws something of a spanner in the works, warning persistent outbreaks of rain and wind will mean warm weather will be patchy until at least mid August.
