Ant McPartlin is taking a break from the limelight to spend time with his adorable new arrival.The beloved Geordie presenter, aged 48, has just become a dad, announcing the birth of his son on Tuesday with wife Anne-Marie.

He shared an endearing black and white snap of him holding baby Wilder Patrick McPartlin and gushed: "Welcome to the family Wilder Patrick Mcpartlin.

Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am Baby is beautiful, Mummy's a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad's a mess." Anne-Marie delivered their bundle of joy at the prestigious London Clinic, a favourite among royals like King Charles and the Princess of Wales.

Ant, however, is stepping back from his TV duties to cherish these early days with his son, although they are planning a TV comeback just days after ending their hit show Saturday Night Takeaway.
