Manchester United legend Gary Neville has revealed that he would prefer his former club appoint PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino as their manager rather than Erik ten Hag.Since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked earlier this season, Pochettino has been deemed the favourite for the vacancy, with many reporting that the Argentine is keen to return to the Premier League.
The former Tottenham manager saw his PSG side knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid earlier this month and it feels only a matter of time before he departs Le Parc Des Princes.But The Mail reported that Ten Hag has already been interviewed by the Red Devils and there is a feeling that the position is the Ajax manager’s to lose.
But Neville believes Pochettino would be a better appointment.He tweeted: “Personally, I would go for Pochettino but Ten Hag is the massive favourite of United fans to take the club forward.
That’s if it is a clear choice between the two.” One follower questioned Neville’s choice, asking whether he saw PSG’s early exit from Europe, to which the former right-back replied: “Yes!
