The show follows five teenagers attending a Catholic school during The Troubles, bringing a welcome dose of comedy to the turbulent political history of 90s Northern Ireland.Starring Jamie-Lee O'Donnell, Saoirse Monica Jackson, Nicola Coughlan, Louisa Harland and Dylan Llewellyn, the series has proven a huge success in Ireland, the UK and beyond.On July 9, the streaming giant added the second instalment of the cult Channel 4 comedy series to the platform, much to viewers' delight.Celebrating the show's arrival, Netflix said: "Derry Girls S2 is now on Netflix if you were looking for an excuse to watch it again."However, just four days later, viewers were disappointed.
