Ayrshire family remembered a much-loved mum and gran by fundraising for the region's hospice.The devoted Hunter family generated a whopping £13,888 for Ayrshire Hospice in memory of Elaine Hunter, affectionately known as Wendal.Elaine's daughter Erin along with husband Kenny, Lucy and Eilidh, from Newmilns, spent their lockdown completing a series of fitness challenges.The Wendal 1.0 challenge involved a one-mile run, 100 burpees, 200 press-ups, 300 squats, and another one-mile run every day for five consecutive days.And all of the attempts were videoed and submitted to Kenny to confirm no one was cheating.Exceeding all expectations, the challenged raised a whopping £7,257.The Ayrshire Live app is available to download now.Get all the local.
