Lorraine stylist called ‘fat controller from Thomas the tank engine’ as he reacts to brutal swipe
Lorraine Kelly’s stylist Mark Heyes has responded to a brutal swipe on the ITV show after he was branded “the fat controller from Thomas the Tank Engine”.During Friday’s (June 17) instalment of the popular daytime talk show, the professional fashion expert dressed up to the nines as he reported live from the Ascot Races. The TV hunk donned a black tuxedo complete with a top hat and a summery yellow tie as he shared his slew of gorgeous outfits perfect for a day at the races including a slew of floral prints, pastel trouser suits and breezy dresses. But the TV star couldn’t shake the cruel insult he received this morning before he made his way to the racecourse to interview some of the best dressed stars at the star-studded event. He told the 62-year-old Scott how his young nephew was less impressed with his ensemble after he compared him to the BBC children’s character. As Lorraine welcomed him back to the show, she couldn't help but compliment her colleague on his stand-out outfit on air. She said: "Fashion now, and we are back with Mark Heyes at the Royal Ascot, oh you look so [good], I love you in that top hat - it's fantastic." He replied with: "Do you like it? Well, I'm gonna take that compliment because my nephew, three-year-old Spencer, genuinely thinks that I'm the fat controller because he's so obsessed with Thomas the Tank Engine."So I'm going to take that you think I look nice, I'm getting paranoid," he confessed.

ITV's Lorraine fans complain as model 'disappears' into distracting backdrop
Lorraine viewers were in for a surprise as a bright backdrop seemed to camouflage some of the models on the ITV show's fashion segment.Host Lorraine Kelly was joined by fashion presenter Mark Heyes to talk all things spring fashion with the show's namesake.Mark's topic was "spring bling" and he brought on models in outfits that featured all kinds of bedazzlements, from sequins to jewels and glitter. As Lorraine gushed over the outfits, some viewers at home were distracted by something else. Many of the items featured bold prints and bright colours which blended perfectly with the set's backdrop, a wall of flowers and leaves with a neon sign. Some shared their thoughts on Twitter and complained that the models had "disappeared".One said: "The picture behind the models is making me dizzy, with all the prints."Lorraine wore a very similar dress and another fan joked: "Please stand Lorraine in front of that backdrop, she would disappear!"One viewer scathingly gave their input and said that the clothes were reduced because they were "overpriced".Prior to the catwalk show, Mark was introduced to the programme by a puzzled Lorraine as she showed viewers some very unusual shoes.A picture of the new Balenciaga high tops flashed on the screen as she questioned the kicks. This is a live TV story and is being constantly updated.

Lorraine fans fume over 'awful' habit which distracted fans from ITV show
Lorraine fans complained they had been distracted by an "awful" habit that made the ITV programme difficult to watch. On Monday's show (March 14), the Scottish host, 62, was joined by fashion presenter Mark Heyes and Showbiz reporter Ria Hebden, 39, to discuss the BAFTAs on Sunday. However, viewers all had the same thing to say as they fumed that the trio kept talking over each over, making the segment tough to watch at times.Taking to Twitter, fans commented: "#lorraine Jesus can they all stop talking over each other."A second person echoed: "Lorraine the usual cacophony that ensues when three people all talk at once and no one listens to any of them.""Is she actually going to interview him, rather than just talk at him #Lorraine," fumed a third. While a fourth raged: "Ffs - do three people all have to talk at the same time #lorraine."Which was met with a similar response: "Literally just tweeted the same thing. It was awful."Lorraine may not have received glowing feedback for the BAFTAs segment but she has instead recently been praised for her epic weight loss.Through regular exercise and portion control, Lorraine has managed to drop two dress sizes - going from a 14 to a size 10.Just last week, the TV star took to her personal Instagram page to document that she'd lost a further two pounds.Sharing a smiley snap of herself alongside her coach, she penned: "HURRAH!!! Thank you @ww.uk and @wwsuzystirfry - making it so easy and fun!!"The ITV host also included a glowing statement from her health instructor Suzy Stirfry which read: "And loving support from fellow @ww.uk Posted @withregram.
