Antiques Roadshow expert revealed the true value of their wedding gift jewellery.The husband and wife pair brought a set of six different jewellery pieces to the BBC One show and hoped to find out more about the value of it after having them "tucked in a drawer" for years.Appearing on Sunday's programme, jewellery historian John Benjamin asked how did they acquire the brooches and pins.The man said: "These pieces of jewellery were given to my wife on our wedding day by my mother."And his wife added: "I was taken aback, very surprised, had no idea at all.
But because it was my big day so my mind was on other things, so I put it back in a box and gave it to my mother-in-law and got them from her when we came back from our honeymoon."John.
