Andy Burnham has unveiled a shake-up of roles and responsibilities which the leaders of each council in Greater Manchester have within his mayoral team.
Salford mayor Paul Dennett has been appointed as deputy mayor of the city-region, taking over from former Manchester council leader Sir Richard Leese.
He will serve alongside Beverley Hughes as one of Burnham's two deputies.
