World Cup play-offs have been thrown into doubt after Poland, Sweden and Czech Republic released a joint-statement saying they will not travel to Russia for matches.
Poland, Sweden and Czech Republic are all in the same play-off 'path' as Russia, with Poland due to face Vladimir Putin's nation in one of the Path B semi-finals.A joint-statement released by all three nations condemned the actions of Putin in invading Ukraine and decreed that play-off matches should not be held in Russia.
It read: "The football federations of Poland, Sweden and the Czech Republic categorically condemn Russia's aggression towards Ukraine.
In view of the current situation, the Polish Football Association (PZPN), Svenska Fotbollförbundet (SvFF) and Fotbalová asociace České republiky (FAČR) express a firm position that scheduled for March 24 and 29 this year.
