Workers at Dumbarton's Kilmalid plant complete gruelling challenge for MND charity

Chivas Brothers’ Kilmalid bottling plant in Dumbarton, the 20-strong group negotiated some of the most difficult terrain across the country to cover 200 miles and over 10,000 feet of elevation in two and a half days.

Their final destination was Speyside, home to The Glenlivet, Strathisla and Aberlour distilleries.The organisation was chosen as the whisky producer’s charity of the year and the event coincided with global MND awareness day as well as MND Scotland’s 40th anniversary.Morag McGown, MND Scotland’s corporate partnerships manager, said: “This was a truly incredible feat by the Chivas team, and we have been blown away by everyone’s commitment and generosity.
