Despite some controversy, the real reason Prince William and Kate Middleton missed Lillibet's birthday was simply thanks to a busy schedule.
One source told Entertainment tonight: "It's simply a coincidence they fell on the same day. There was no intended slight." Lillibet's party was seen as something of an 'olive branch' extended by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after a difficult relationship between the two royal feuding brothers.
