A legendary talent agent of his day, Henry Willson became something of a star-maker in the Golden Age of Tinseltown. Now in the glamorous new Netflix drama series Hollywood, The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons portrays the powerful and abusive Willson and his relationship with one of his greatest stars, Rock Hudson.
Born in 1911 and growing up as a rich New Yorker to a prominent showbiz family, Henry Willson was the son of Horace Willson, vice-president of the Columbia Phonograph Company and moved in Broadway circles.
Henry's interest in tap dance saw him sent to Asheville School in North Carolina by his father in a bid to have what he believed would be a positive influence on Henry.
