Britain will bask in two days of almost spring-like warmth thanks to a blast from the tropical Azores. Temperatures will nudge the mercury to 25C in parts of the country tomorrow and Wednesday.
High pressure stretching across the Atlantic from the Azores Islands, off the coast of Portugal, will bring clear skies and sunshine.
The cheery forecast comes amid predictions for a possible Indian Summer later this month. Thermometers will leap from tomorrow with the best of the sunshine set to bathe southern regions.
