Flood warnings and alerts have been issued in the UK as Brits prepare for days of icy winds and rain. Temperatures plummeted this week after the first part of September was mostly warm and sunny.
Today the weather will be mainly dry, with sunny spells in most parts of the country, the Met Office said. However, from Tuesday the weather will turn increasingly unsettled through midweek - with rain and strong winds developing.
Temperatures will be chilly in most parts of the UK, with highs of around 16C. Met Office meteorologist Alex Burkill told Mirror Online: "Sunday is going to be a pretty sunny day. "Temperatures will be slightly higher than Saturday, with highs of around 16C or 17C - a little below average for this time of the year." He
