Russia 'planning public executions to break Ukrainian morale' claim intelligence experts

Ukraine in a desperate bid to break morale, it has been claimed.Since Vladimir Putin’s forces invaded the country last week (February 24) they have incurred heavy casualties against fanatical Ukrainian resistance.

And according to some European intelligence officials, Putin could soon turn to grim executions as he seeks to dominate the country.

Bloomberg reports that the horrifying new information comes from an anonymous Russian official who has seen documents from Russia's Federal Security Service.

Reacting to the information, Bloomberg's political editor Kitty Donaldson also revealed that Russia was planning “violent crowd control and repressive detention of protest organisers” for later in its campaign.Despite the Russian's numerical advantage they have struggled to take the capital city of Kyiv which continues to face multiple attacks from the air.Hostomel Airport on the outskirts of the city has been the scene of fierce fighting and has changed hands multiple times in the past few days, according to the Institute for the Study of War.Yesterday (March 2), the Russians took over Kherson, the first major city the country's troop have captured so far.Meanwhile, Mariupol, on the Black Sea, is under constant bombardment from Kremlin airstrikes, with vital civilian infrastructure cruelly targeted in an effort to force the southeastern city into submission.After nearly a week of bloodshed, Vladimir Putin also finally admitted how many of his soldiers have died in his attempts to conquer the country.
