The U.K.'s National Film and Television School (NFTS) has forged a new partnership with the British Film Institute aimed at furthering diversity and inclusion in the industry and addressing the skills gap.
The Early Stage Access and Diversity Accelerator Program, supported by the BFI through its National Lottery funding, will see the NFTS deliver new strands of activity and widening access its existing strands.
As part of the initiative, from April the school will create a new public-facing section of its popular Masterclass strand, featuring some of the U.K.'s top creative talent and focussing on topical industry themes.
