The decision was taken on Saturday in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus.The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Organizing Committee took the decision as part of a five party meeting that also included the head of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, and Tokyo Governor Koike Yuriko.It said that it was taking the decision at this early stage in order to help fans adjust their travel plans.“In order to give clarity to ticket holders living overseas and to enable them to adjust their travel plans at this stage, the parties on the Japanese side have come to the conclusion that they will not be able to enter.
