WOODZ has gifted fans with a new demo track called ‘Falling’, featuring Day6’s Young K.On September 13, WOODZ took to his SoundCloud account to unveil his new song ‘Falling’, which he co-wrote and co-composed with Day6 vocalist and bassist Young K. The pair have notably spoken about having worked on a song together since 2021.“You see me falling, falling, falling, falling asleep in / Worries, worries, worries, worries, not a single one / I’ll tell you tomorrow, I hope it’s okay / Oh, I’m not gonna stay up all night / I want a sweet dream,” they croon in the chorus.WOODZ is currently serving his mandatory military service, and has been releasing demos on SoundCloud over the last two months as gifts to fans.

GFRIEND, aespa and NewJeans are among the artists set to perform at the 39th Golden Disc Awards in January.South Korea’s Golden Disc Awards has announced the complete line-up for its upcoming 39th ceremony, which will take place over January 4 and 5 at the Mizuho PayPay Dome in Fukuoka, Japan. The awards ceremony shared its line-up in two waves on December 3 and 9, comprising a total of 21 acts over the two days.Day one of the 39th Golden Disc Awards will include performances by popular K-pop girl groups like aespa, NewJeans and (G)I-DLE, along with singer-songwriters like BIBI and Crush.

Day6 have announced new stops for their ongoing world tour ‘Forever Young’, with shows in Oceania, US and more.On October 30, Day6 announced six new 2025 shows added to their ongoing ‘Forever Young’ world tour. The Korean band added shows in the Oceanic region, specifically Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland, as well as two shows in Los Angeles and New York in the US on top of a remaining Asia show in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.The tour kicked off late last month with a three-night residency at Incheon’s Inspire Arena from September 20 to 22.

SEVENTEEN vocalist DK has shared a cover of South Korean band Day6’s song ‘Happy’.Today (July 1), SEVENTEEN’s DK released a cover of Day6’s 2024 track ‘Happy’ alongside a self-shot music video. The clip, shot in a vlog format, follows the singer travels to Japan for a concert, including behind-the-scenes footage and clips of the boyband spending their free time together.“May I be happy? / I want to laugh every day / I don’t want to worry / Please tell me the answer / So hеlp me, I’m sitting down / I think I’m going to cry / So, please, plеase, please / Tell me, it’s okay to be happy,” DK sings on the chorus.‘Happy’ was originally released in March this year by Day6 as part of their eighth mini-album, ‘Fourever’.

Day6 have released their new single ‘Welcome to the Show’, their first as full group in almost three years.‘Welcome to the Show’ leads Day6’s brand-new album ‘Fourever’. The music video for the new song captures the band performing the song in a studio, alongside a loose storyline about a couple falling in love.“The future that you’re welcoming with me might be risky / But there might also be tear-filled impassion / Even so, if you won’t let go of my hand / If so, then let’s go, welcome to the show,” they sing on the anthemic new song.Speaking to The Korea Times, Day6 said that they had “opted for a more upbeat song as the title track” as compared to the “melancholic tone” of their previous singles hoping to “exude a welcoming and exhilarating vibe”.

BamBam has revealed that Day6 member Young K was originally supposed to debut in GOT7.Day6’s Young K recently made a guest appearance on BamBam’s YouTube show, Bam House, where the GOT7 member spoke about the pair’s time at JYP Entertainment. Notably, BamBam left the K-pop agency in 2021, alongside his follow GOT7 members.“Guys, I’ve said this many times before, but you know how I wasn’t part of the pre-debut GOT7 team at first, right? Let me tell you something that may shock you. Young K was [a member of] GOT7 before I was,” BamBam said in the video while introducing the Day6 singer.The Thai musician then compared the situation to their JYP Entertainment seniors, 2AM and 2PM, and how the members of those two groups had “moved about” before their official debut.“And basically, Young K was like them.

K-pop girl group H1-KEY and Young K have collaborated for a special performance of ‘Rose Blossom’.During the September 8 episode of late-night South Korean music talk show The Seasons: Long Day, Long Night with AKMU, rookie girl group H1-KEY made a guest appearance to perform their January single ‘Rose Blossom’ with Day6 member singer Young K, who penned the track.Their performance remained largely true to the original ‘Rose Blossom’, with its instrumental being performed by a live band. However, Young K took over several lines in the song and harmonised with the H1-KEY members during the special performance.“I’m a rose among the concrete / Until this bleak city is fills up with colour / I’ll keep my head up until the very end / Until they get drunk off my scent and smile,” they sing in the chorus.Both Young K and H1-KEY have recently released new music, with the former dropping his first solo studio album ‘Letters With Notes’ and its lead single ‘nothing but’ last week.Meanwhile, the girl group released their second mini-album ‘Seoul Dreaming’ in late-August.

Day6 bassist and vocalist Young K has shared snippets of songs from his upcoming debut studio album.On August 17, the musician shared a series of “lyric spoiler clips” via JYP Entertainment’s YouTube channel. The three songs, ‘waited’, ‘nothing but’ and ‘let it be summer’, are from Young K’s upcoming debut studio album ‘Letters With Notes’, which will be released on September 4 at 6pm KST.The second track ‘nothing but’ will serve as the record’s title track.

Day6 (Even of Day) briefly reunited for a special performance on a recent episode of KBS’ Immortal Songs.Members Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon took the stage for the variety show’s 74th Armed Forces Day special, which aired on October 1. The trio, dressed in their military uniforms, performed their 2019 hit ‘Time of Our Life’ and their rendition of singer Kim Min-woo’s 1990 single, ‘In the Enlistment Train’.“Honestly, even to me / This moment right now / Feels like a dream because I’m with you / For this day / I prepared many things,” the trio belted out in their performance for ‘Time of Our Life’.All three members of Day6 (Even of Day) are currently serving in the military.

Day6 have renewed their contracts with longtime agency JYP Entertainment.On the morning of September 26, JYP Entertainment told Sports DongAh that all four members of the act — Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon — had renewed their exclusive contracts with the agency.“We plan to continue our meaningful journey together based on the foundation of deep trust between Day6, a group with a signature sound, and JYP Entertainment, which has a lot of experience in band management,” said the agency, as translated by Soompi.It later added: “We will become a dependable pillar for Day6’s future, and we will be unsparing in our strategic support so that Day6 can fly even higher in the future.”The news comes just weeks after the band marked their seventh anniversary since their debut in September 2015. Although Day6 are currently inactive with members Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon serving their respective compulsive military terms, Sungjin had held a face-to-face fan event commemorating the occasion.

Day6 vocalist Young K has shared a stunning rendition of Oasis’ 1996 single ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’.Filmed in a garden, the video features Young K performing a stripped-down version of the song while accompanied by a guitarist. “And so, Sally can wait / She knows it’s too late as we’re walking on by / Her soul slides away / But don’t look back in anger, I heard you say,” he sings in the chorus.Young K’s rendition of ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ is the latest in a string of monthly covers released by the K-pop idol, who is currently inactive from the boyband as he serves his mandatory military service.

Day6 vocalist eaJ (real name Jae Park) has opened up about his experience being “cancelled” several times before.In a teaser for the Korean-American musician’s second collection for the app Mindset, eaJ addresses his past controversies, which seem like they might be discussed in more detail in his upcoming audio series. Earlier this year, eaJ has been slammed online for derogatory comments about soloist Jamie.The singer had also previously received backlash over controversial comments he made during a livestream in 2021.

Day6 member eaJ (also known as Jae Park) has opened up about his feels about the K-pop industry.In a new interview with Bandwagon Asia, the 29-year-old singer touched on his time in the K-pop industry as part of the pop rock band Day6 and spoke about why he has been so open about his experience thus far. Park previously talked about the lack of freedom he felt and has expressing his displeasure with it on several occasions.“I think I was very angry with the system itself, and to be honest, I think I carried that anger further than I needed to,” confessed eaJ.

Day6 keyboardist and vocalist Wonpil has announced his upcoming military enlistment.Wonpil had hosted a V Live broadcast on February 23, where he personally shared the details of his impending enlistment. The singer revealed that he had chosen to apply to the Navy as it was the next available option, as he wanted to line up his service to his fellow Day6 members.“I will be enlisting on March 28,” he said during the broadcast, as translated by Soompi. “Since [Day6 members Young K] and Dowoon all already enlisted, a part of me kind of wanted to enlist early too.”The singer will be the final Day6 member to enlist for South Korea’s mandatory military service.

Day6 member Wonpil has made his solo debut with the full-length album ‘Pilmography’.The South Korean musician released the 10-track ‘Pilmography’ at 6pm KST today (February 7), alongside a music video for title track ‘Voiceless’. In a pre-recorded press event celebrating the release, Wonpil spoke about how he hoped the album would  “comfort and heal people, especially among times of trouble”, per Korea Herald.“The title of my album ‘Pilmography’ is a [combined] term of my name and the term filmography, and I gave a little tweak by adding the letter ‘P’ from my name,” he said, adding that the record will be like the filmography of his life so far.However, plans for Wonpil to promote the album have been postponed as the singer was recently in close contact with a COVID-19 positive case.

Day6 singer and keyboardist Wonpil is set to release his first-ever solo album in February.At midnight KST on January 24, the South Korean musician announced that he would be making his solo debut with his first-ever album, titled ‘Pilmography’. Alongside the announcement came an intriguing teaser film for the upcoming release, which is due out on February 7 at 6pm KST.In the new visual, a marble rolls across the floor, bumping lightly against the hand of a sleeping Wonpil.

Day6 has claimed that it wasn’t his choice to take a break from the group.In a recent Instagram Live session, the Korean-American singer opened up about his hiatus from the group. His comments were seemingly in reference to the Day6 sub-unit Even Of Day, which features three of the band’s five members: Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon.“I also want to make a couple things clear, like, for the work stuff, I was never the one who said I don’t want to perform,” Park alleged during his live broadcast, as archived on YouTube.
