SEVENTEEN vocalist DK has shared a cover of South Korean band Day6’s song ‘Happy’.Today (July 1), SEVENTEEN’s DK released a cover of Day6’s 2024 track ‘Happy’ alongside a self-shot music video.
The clip, shot in a vlog format, follows the singer travels to Japan for a concert, including behind-the-scenes footage and clips of the boyband spending their free time together.“May I be happy? / I want to laugh every day / I don’t want to worry / Please tell me the answer / So hеlp me, I’m sitting down / I think I’m going to cry / So, please, plеase, please / Tell me, it’s okay to be happy,” DK sings on the chorus.‘Happy’ was originally released in March this year by Day6 as part of their eighth mini-album, ‘Fourever’.
The song was penned by the band’s bassist and vocalist Young K, and composed by members Sungjin and Wonpil.Last week, SEVENTEEN made history as the first K-pop act to perform at Glastonbury.
After performing at the festival, the boy band also made an appearance at a restaurant in Bath where they performed at its live music corner, covering hits by Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson and more.Back in April, the 13-member act released their first-ever compilation album ‘17 Is Right Here’ led by the title track ‘Maestro’.
