According to a press release by the streaming service, the series will follow “the ultra-luxurious lives of the world’s wealthiest in the heart of Korea”.Super Rich in Korea will feature personalities such as South Korean figure Yoo Hee-ra, Singaporean entrepreneur David Yong and Arab social media celebrity Noor Naim, among others.Netflix says the show will “unveil a realm where luxury cars and haute couture are everyday sights, and exclusive parties are the norm.

GOT7 singer BamBam has spoken out about the technical difficulties he faced during his performance at the 2024 Seoul Music Awards, saying he will “never go to award shows again”.This year’s Seoul Music Awards were held yesterday (January 2) at Bangkok’s Rajamangala Stadium, during which prizes were presented to winners and special performances were staged. The ceremony was also streamed live for global audiences to watch.As part of the performing line-up, GOT7 member BamBam took to the stage for a special mash-up of his solo singles ‘Pandora’, ‘Sour & Sweet’ and ‘Ribbon’.

K-pop singer Sunmi has performed a cover of late English singer Amy Winehouse’s hit song ‘Valerie’.In a recent episode of late-night South Korean music talk show The Seasons, hosted by brother-sister duo AKMU, the soloist and ex-Wonder Girls member performed her rendition of the iconic 2006 track.Accompanied by a live band, Sunmi sung an abridged rendition of Winehouse’s cover of The Zutons’ ‘Valerie’, from the deluxe version of the late singer’s second and final studio album ‘Back to Black’. “Won’t you come on over / Stop making a fool out of me / Why don’t you come on over Valerie,” she sings in the chorus.Elsewhere during the episode, Sunmi also performed her latest single ‘Stranger’, which she released digitally earlier this month, as well as her 2020 single ‘pporappippam’.

GOT7 member BamBam has revealed how Sunmi became the reason he joined his current label, Abyss Company.GOT7’s BamBam joined Abyss Company in March 2021, following his departure from long-time agency JYP Entertainment in January that year. Meanwhile, Sunmi had signed with the label in 2017, back when it was known as MAKEUS Entertainment, after her contract with JYP Entertainment ended in the same year.In the latest episode of BamBam’s YouTube talk show, Bam House, which guest starred Sunmi, the Thai-born K-pop idol revealed that he wouldn’t have joined his current label if not for the former Wonder Girls member.“[Sunmi] is the lake of Abyss [because] you made our company grow,” BamBam told Sunmi, before admitting to her: “If you were’t there, I wouldn’t have joined Abyss.” He then explained that before he signed with the agency, he had contacted Sunmi and “asked about the company”.“I was like, ‘Is it a company I could trust?’ She told me really good things about the company,” he recalled.

Sunmi has released the music video for her new single, ‘Stranger’.In the new eerie music video for ‘Stranger’, Sunmi builds her own Frankenstein’s monster, which looks just like her. But throughout the clip, she’s haunted by a masked figure that chases her around a lavish castle.“Mr. Stranger, running into danger / Gotta get to know you / Mr. Stranger, wanna be your angel / Gotta get to know you,” she sings on the chorus of the songs.Notably, much like the theme of the accompanying music video, ‘Stranger’ is marked by abrupt transitions between the contrasting musical elements of the song’s verses, chorus and bridge.Aside from ‘Stranger’, Sunmi’s new digital single also features the songs ‘Calm Myself’ and ‘Call My Name’.

BamBam has revealed that Day6 member Young K was originally supposed to debut in GOT7.Day6’s Young K recently made a guest appearance on BamBam’s YouTube show, Bam House, where the GOT7 member spoke about the pair’s time at JYP Entertainment. BamBam, also a member of boyband GOT7, has announced the first wave of dates for his upcoming solo world tour ‘Area 52’.Today (July 12), BamBam shared that he would soon be holding his first-ever world tour, revealing its first few stops. the singer’s upcoming ‘Area 52’ world tour is set to kick off in Seoul this September, before heading to Manila, Macau, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok over the next two months.According to the accompanying tour poster, more dates in other regions will be added to the ‘Area 52’ tour, which is set to continue into 2024. The release was accompanied by a music video for its lead single, featuring the singer playing cat and mouse with a potential love interest.“It’s sour then it’s sweet / Sometimes, I could be more than what you see / This tastes like fantasy, fantasy / Dare to taste or fall into my recipe / It’s sour then it’s sweet,” he sings on the dance-pop song.‘Sour & Sweet’ features eight tracks, seven of which – including the title track – were co-written by the GOT7 singer.
