Three people hurt as taxi crashes into a building in Manchester city centre

At least three people were hurt after a crash ended with a taxi ploughing into a building. The drama happened on Angel Street at the junction of Cross Keys Street in the Northern Quarter of Manchester city centre on Saturday afternoon.

Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene at around 3.13pm. A van, which also appeared to have been involved, was also damaged. Firefighters, who were scrambled to Addlington Street, ensured the vehicles were safe.
