Man rushed to hospital and two arrested amid city centre assault

manchestereveningnews.co.ukA man was taken to hospital and two arrests were made after police were called to an assault in Ancoats. Forensic officers combed the scene of the incident on Cornell Street this morning (Friday).

A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault - he remains in custody for questioning. A 55-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
