Scaled back plans have been lodged to partly demolish and convert a former town centre pub into flats and takeaways. Plans for the Albion pub on Moor Lane in Bolton town centre include 10 flats and space for hot food businesses at the ground floor.
Last year, proposals for 16 flats at the site, which also included a ‘drinking establishment’, were rejected by Bolton Council who stated its its ‘over intensive nature and lack of consideration of the relationship between the residential and commercial’.
