Cops find '£40k of heroin and cannabis' after raids on four flats in Scots high rise

Cops have found almost £40,000 of drugs after raids on a Scots high rise. Officers raided four flats in Aberdeen's Aulton Court, in the Seaton area of the city, on Thursday.

The drugs recovered include what is believed to be cannabis, heroin and diazepam.Cops estimate the street value to be £39,070.A 37-year-old man and 45-year-old woman have been arrested and charged.They are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.Detective Inspector Martyn Thomson, of Aberdeen CID, said: "We would always appeal to the public to contact us with information about drug crime in their community."We will act on it and information can be given anonymously."Anyone with information about drug crime in their area should contact Police Scotland
