Big Hit Entertainment has issued a statement following reports that an employee of the Korail transport system had accessed RM’s personal information nearly 20 times over the course of three years.On March 1, SBS reported that a Korail employee, referred to only as A, had accessed RM’s personal information – including his mobile number, address and more – 18 times and had helped their friend book a train seat close to the BTS leader.The employee reportedly said of their actions: “I simply looked at it because I was curious. I am reflecting on my mistakes.”Korail, or Korea Railroad Corporation, said that the employee was in charge of IT development and had the authority to access customer’s personal data, reported the Korea Times.

Tomorrow X Together (TXT) leader Soobin has opened up about his feelings over the group’s global popularity.In a recent interview with Marie Claire Korea, the K-pop idol spoke about the boyband’s rise in popularity since their debut in 2019. Soobin revealed that he had initially found it unbelievable that TXT’s international fame had grown so much.In 2021, TXT was notably the only Korean artist to make it onto both Rolling Stone’s and NME’s respective best albums of 2021 lists.

BTS have opened up about anti-Asian hate and what it feels like to be Asians in the global music industry.During a recent press conference, which came shortly after the first day of their Permission To Dance On Stage concerts in Los Angeles, the septet were asked about the rise of anti-Asian hate around the world, per Teen Vogue.“I wasn’t born and raised abroad, but as Asians – these past years, our path around the world, we truly felt the walls,” said BTS leader RM. “The walls can be always described as words, sometimes it’s visible, sometimes it’s invisible and sensitive.”“When we talk about Asian hate, our path [is] these awards [and] our music,” he continued, adding that he hopes the septet can “truly help every Asian in the world”.

In addition, two of their Korean-language, ‘Life Goes On’ and ‘Be’, have been certified Gold and Platinum, respectively.As per RIAA’s certification criteria, songs are given triple-platinum certifications once they exceed 3million units.

BTS are reportedly parting ways with Sony Music’s Columbia Records in favour of Universal Music Group.According to reports by Billboard and Variety, the boyband, under agency HYBE, will no longer be working with Columbia Records and The Orchard. Big Hit Music, the label under HYBE that manages BTS and TXT, have announced announced new online global auditions for 2021.Big Hit Music is “looking for individuals with talent and passion” to be “the next global superstar,” the label wrote on its website. ENHYPEN have opened up about what it was like working with labelmate and HYBE senior Yeonjun from boyband TXT.Yesterday (October 12), ENHYPEN released their first full-length album ‘Dimension : Dilemma’.
