This Morning took a racy turn when Josie Gibson asked her co-host Vernon Kay: "Do you trim your rose bushes?"Poor Vernon was left red-faced and speechless by her saucy-sounding question, which was broadcast to ITV's daytime TV audience.

The presenting duo have been covering for regular hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who have taken time off from the show during the school holidays. However, it seems their recent hosting stint hasn't come without some outrageously cheeky moments - including rose-bush-euphemisms.Thursday's show (April 14) saw Vernon and Josie wrapping up a family-friendly gardening segment on rose bushes with David Domoney. However, it quickly went wrong when Josie seemed to make a reference to Vernon's private parts - and he didn't know how to respond.Speaking about the floral feature, Vernon said: "That's the beauty of this show, when we get all the chefs in they make cooking look easy, and David's just done that with roses and he made that look easy."He added: "If you're someone like me, it's blimmin hard!"Josie asked him: "You don't trim your rose bushes?", and Vernon grimaced on camera before grinning. She then quipped: "You've got a gardener..." which prompted laughs from the studio. After a long silence, Vernon nodded and said: "Yeah.

Yeah, it's lovely and trim, Josie. Lovely and trim."Josie couldn't help giggling at the euphemistic exchange, and Vernon later told Josie she 'cracked him up'.Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary have fronted the show Monday (April 4), and they are also set to cover the extra bank holiday shows on Good Friday (April 15) and Easter Monday (April 18).Josie and Vernon will present the show from Monday, April 11 to Thursday, April 14, before Phillip and Holly will.
