Dermot O'Leary almost found himself in tears during the last episode of This Morning of the week. The presenter was back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Friday alongside co-host Alison Hammond.
The pair usually present the end of the week show but this was their second stint hosting the show this week after filling in for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on Easter Monday.
On the latest show they were joined in the studio by the Supervet himself Noel Fitzpatrick. The extraordinary vet was on the programme to chat to Alison and Dermot about swapping his veterinary surgery for the stage as he goes on a nationwide arena tour. And it proved to almost be too much for Dermot, 48, as when they returned to the studio to introduce Noel and start their chat, the former X Factor host looked close to tears. "Oh, man I am done in already," he said, hiding his face with his script. "It's amazing, isn't it?" Alison said as Dermot joked: "No, you're crying!" Copsing himself, the dad-one-one carried on: "Now for his latest project Supervet, Noel is swapping the surgery for the stage as he's on a nationwide arena tour for animal lovers everywhere.
