The haul includes self-loaded pistols, shotguns and imitation firearms converted by criminals into viable weapons. GMP has seized 30 converted replicas of since April 2020.
The seizures come as the force has had to deal with violent gangland disputes in north Manchester, Salford, and Cheetham Hill.
The latest figures for shootings in the region are worryingly high although they have reduced in the last year. Three people were shot dead in the last year - Cole Kershaw, 18, in Bury, and Abayomi Ajose, 36,and Cheriff Tall, 21, in a double shooting in Moss Side.
