But the latest Public Health England figures today show cases are rising in all of Greater Manchester's eight other boroughs.
The weekly rates, data on Monday revealed, showed cases increased most in Tameside, Wigan, Oldham and Bury in the seven days to June 17, the most up to data statistics available.
Manchester continues to have the highest coronavirus infection rate in Greater Manchester. The borough recorded a rate of 360.7 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending June 17, according to Public Health England.
