tattoo of The Last Supper that he drew on one of his customers.Jay Hutton, who appeared on E4's Tattoo Fixers programme, says the incredible full torso tattoo took a painstaking 42 hours to complete. The customer, named Mitch, already had the upper part of his torso covered when he went to visit Jay at his Adrenaline Tattoo Studio in Ellesmere Port, North Wales.Mitch wanted a tattoo of Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper to cover the rest of his torso. And after six full day sessions over the course of a few months, he finally got the finished product.Speaking to North Wales Live after completing the tattoo Jay said: "It was such a detailed piece to tattoo.
Mitch had a chest piece tattooed already when he came in, consisting of the virgin Mary and Jesus."So he wanted to add the Last Supper picture to his stomach to create a full front torso tattoo.
The torso is an extremely painful place to get tattooed and Mitch didn't flinch once! It took six full day sessions which lasted around seven hours each with a few short breaks."Most of the sessions were separated over a few months except three of those six days were back to back.
So on the second and third day he would have been extremely sore from the previous days."And tattooing anywhere near the parts we had already done was going to be extremely uncomfortable.
