monkeypox have been reported in the UK this week, with the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) now saying 190 people in the country have caught it.
183 have been in England, four in Scotland, two in Northern Ireland and one in Wales. Although the general risk to the population remains low, the UKHSA says it is important people stay up to date with guidance and know what to look out for.
But after years of coronavirus measures telling people to social distance and stay at home, the latest guidance for monkeypox comes as a rather drastic contrast.
