Manchester branches of the Britannia Hotel chain have received a large number of scathing reviews from disgruntled travellers over the years.
Used condoms, questionable stains and dirty rooms are among the string of complaints made by guests staying at one of Britannia's five hotels in the city.
This week it was revealed that the hotel chain had been ranked the worst in the UK by consumer watchdog Which? - for the eighth consecutive year running.
The firm came in last place in a survey of 4,000 guests as UV lights showed stained towels, broken glass, and hair in toilets when researchers from Which?
